Alissa Block

Alissa Block, Co-Founder of The Winford Group emphasizes the personal side of talent acquisition and career management. She welcomes each new candidate and client to The Winford Group family. On a personal level, Alissa relishes in the ability to be in business with her sister (most days) and her dear friend who she brought to The Winford Group in 2007. She has created a partnership that blends their combined expertise with their unique approaches.

Alissa graduated cum laude, from University of California, Santa Cruz (yes, she’s a slug!) with a double major in Psychology and Economics. She worked as a marketing and advertising sales executive in Los Angeles for over 10 years prior to becoming an executive search consultant. In her spare time, Alissa most craves hanging out with her grown kids. She regularly enjoys planning and cooking big dinner parties and playing rummy-tile with anyone willing.
